The Barker Reservoir is a water supply reservoir in the Colorado Front Range located near the town of Nederland, Colorado in southwestern Boulder County. The photos of the Barker Reservoir located on this page were taken in the evening on May 25, 2015. We were on our way back from Nederland near Missouri Lake searching for a nice location to photograph. As we were heading into Boulder, we came across these beautiful clouds and sunset over Barker Reservoir. You may notice just below the dramatic white puffy clouds in the distance sits Buckeye Mountain. Even though we left Nederland and the Missouri Lake and Missouri Creek area without any images, all was not lost on our photographic trip, as we were fortunate to come across these dramatic cloud reflections upon Barker Reservoir.
