Colorful and dramatic clouds can be seen floating in the skies above Castle Rock in these landscape photographs. You can see sweeping pastel colors, dramatic white clouds, as well as colorful shafts of light over the rock. The colorful skies make for stunning vistas of Castle Rock and the Front Range in these images. In the first few photos you can see dancing wind swept clouds with a full moon above the rock. • a Really Right Stuff TVC 34L tripod,
• with a Really Right Stuff BH-50 LR Ballhead,
• a Gitzo CF6X Mountaineer 2 tripod (GT2530),
• with a Really Right Stuff BH-40 LR Ballhead,
• and the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max.

These Colorado photos were taken hand held (iPhone) and with tripods. The exposures for the images averaged between 1/5 of a second to 1/222 second at f/1.8 to f/11. The ISO ranged from 20 up to 200. All of the photos were processed from single exposures, exposing for the highlights while bringing up the shadows. This was done in order to retain detail in highlights. Adobe Lightroom Classic was used to process all images.
