This year saw and abundance of wildflowers blooming in the open spaces of Colorado. This was likely due to the higher than normal amounts of rain fall received in the months of April, May and June.

Technical Details About the Yellow Colorado Wildflowers
The camera gear used to photograph the Yellow Colorado Wildflowers included the following; a Nikon D810 with a Nikon MB-D12 Battery Grip, a Nikon D750 with a Nikon MB-D16 Battery Grip, a Nikkor 28-300mm, f/3.5-5.6, and a ThinkTank Digital Holster 40 V2.0. The photos using the Nikon D810 and D750 at a focal length of 300mm using the macro mode on the 28-300mm Lens. The photos were taken in the RAW format and exposures for the images averaged between 1/50 and 1/200 of a second at f/11 to f/5.6 with a camera ISO of 100 to 400.
