About the Rocky Mountain Airshow
The airshow has been an annual event in Colorado since 1979 when it was the Rocky Mountain Experimental Aircraft Association Regional Fly-in. RMA became the new name in 2002 and more of the “show” planes were added to the experimental aircraft.
The show has changed locations several times over the years as it outgrew its homes. For the past five years it’s been in Broomfield, but resurfacing of the runways at that airport gave Greeley and Weld County the opportunity to host the event.
The Rocky Mountain Airshow is returning to the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport on August 14-16, 2015. The Rocky Mountain Metro Airport (KBJC) is located at 11755 Airport Way in Broomfield, Colorado. Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport is owned and operated by Jefferson County, Colorado.
