About the Sbach 342 “ThunderBolt”

New to the Rocky Mountain Airshow is the Sbach 342 “ThunderBolt”, which was flown by Doug Jardine, a Toronto-born pilot who grew up in Orange County. The Sbach, with its carbon-fiber airframe, is highly maneuverable and has a roll rate of 450 degrees per second. Over the past decade the Sbach 342 aircraft have been in hot demand in Europe, and in 2011 the aircraft have available in the US.
